Recently, a dance competition "Crazy about Kizomba" took place in Kyiv. The undisputed winner of the competition was the student of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.

In 2015, student of the specialty "Management", of the Institute of economics and management in oil and gas complex of IFNTUOG Volodymyr Radevych won the international creative competition " 2015 USFUCA Worldwide Youth Contest - "The Year of Light" held under the auspices of UNESCO and the World Genesis Foundation.

Patriotic flashmob of IFNTUOG's students

On October 23, 2014 Student Parliament of IFNTUOG held a flashmob which once again demonstrated the spirit of patriotism of Ukrainian students. One hundred and fifty students wearing embroidered shirts lined up on campus creating a shape of tryzub (trident) – national emblem of Ukraine, and sang the national anthem of Ukraine.

Graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering

Step towards European education

On June 24-25th, 2014 students of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering (majoring in Oil and Gas Extraction; Drilling) defended their Master’s theses in IFNTUOG. The cooperation between the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering of IFNTUOG and the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas of AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow, Poland) has been continuing for three years now.
