University implements Romania-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020

 

On May 3, 2018, the head of the Verkhovyna District Administration Oleh Liutyi met with the representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. Among them: Olha Pobihun - Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism of IFNTUOG, Oleksandr Bilotskyi - Associate Professor of the Department of Social Communications and Law of IFNTUOG, Sergii Pobihun - Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Controlling, Hresko Uliana - Associate Professor of the Accounting and Audit Department of IFNTUOG.

The main purpose of the visit of scientists was to establish cooperation during 2018 and to discuss implementing of the Romania-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020. The participants discussed a number of key issues, among them: the development of tourist routes Bystrets-Dzembronia, the commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the birth of the author of the largest epic on the Hutsul land Stanislav Vintsenz the restoration of the museum room in honor of the Homer of the Carpathians, the and celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Observatory on Pip Ivan .

The participants of the meeting also spoke about the tourist route of the narrow-gauge road to Romania and the development of perspective plans for infrastructure projects. A separate topic of the meeting was the establishment of cooperation on developing a marketing strategy for the promotion of the Verkhovyna district as a tourist attraction of the Carpathians. As a result of the discussion, the parties agreed to hold the next meetings, which will allow for intensive fruitful cooperation and implementation of the planned steps.
