In the framework of International scientific and technical conference "Oil and gas power engineering 2017" the establishing of the office of Ivano-Frankivsk section of the international organization "Society of petroleum engineers" (SPE) took place in the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. Director of the Institute of Petroleum engineering Oleh Vytiaz addressed the participants dwelling on the stages of formation and development of SPE section, thanked the rector of the University academician of NAS of Ukraine Professor Ye. Kryzhanivskyi for help and assistance in the functioning of the SPE office.
President of the professional branch of SPE in Ukraine R. Bilyi congratulated the audience on such an important event in the University life. The ceremony was also attended by the head of the Department of Development and Production of Oil and Gas Fields R. Kondrat and President of the student branch of the Institute of petroleum engineering M. Nazaruk.
The Society of petroleum engineers (SPE) is the largest organization with individual membership, which provides an opportunity to enhance technical and professional competence. The number of SPE members is constantly growing. Today the organization has over 168 thousand members worldwide and more than 190 professional sections, one of which is in Ivano-Frankivsk.
SPE provides an opportunity to learn more about advanced engineering methods, share experiences, meet new colleagues and partners, to realize their potential and continue to learn and improve their skills.
