International students feel safe at IFNTUOG

A regular meeting of the Vice-rector for international affairs with interational students studying at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas took place at the premises of the university.

It should be noted that IFNTUOG focuses on creating all the necessary conditions for studying, living, protection, security, creative growth and leisure of international students.

The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the problems of ensuring a high-quality educational process, academic success, establishing necessary documentation service for the training of foreign citizens, and the nostrification of documents. An issue of the organization of sports and mass work with international students was considered. In particular, Mr. Karpash noted that starting with the new academic year, English-speaking groups will be created for sports activities, which will facilitate faster adaptation to the student environment. Particular attention was paid to the issue of health insurance and third party insurance for international students studying at the IFNTUOG.

For the university, the issue of security and protection of international students is a key point. In view of this and for the better awareness of citizens of other countries about their rights and responsibilities, representatives of the Patrol Police in Ivano-Frankivsk were invited to the meeting. Police conducted a fruitful conversation with the audience, detailing the rights of foreigners and their actions during a meeting with the patrol police. Students showed a great interest in talking to the guests, telling stories from their life, and having the opportunity to ask questions of greatest interest. The police, in turn, assured that the most important thing is to always keep calm and remember that the law is on your side.
