On November 13-14, 2014 Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG) participated in the Twenty-sixth International Exhibition "Education and Career - the Student's Day 2014", which was held at the National Center for business and cultural cooperation "Ukrainian House " (city of Kyiv).
The event was organized by the Society "Knowledge" of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
Among the honored guests of the exhibition there were: the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Science and Education Liliia Hrynevych, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Pavlo Polianskyi, the President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen.
More than 60 universities of Ukraine presented their educational programs for students and pupils at the exhibition. In Kiev IFNTUOG was represented by the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work Oleh Mandryk and Dean of the Faculty of Geological Engineering Valerii Omelchenko.
We should also mention that our University took part in the competition of the International exhibition "Education and Career - the Student's Day 2014" and won the Grand Prix in the category "Research activities of the institution."
