On November 7-9, 2017, the 2nd International Specialized Exhibition "NaftoHazexpo - 2017" was held in Kyiv at the International Exhibition Center – the largest exhibition facility in Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine and the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine. The event, held within the framework of the XV International Forum "Ukraine's Fuel and Energy Complex: Present and Future", gave participants and visitors a unique opportunity to present technology, equipment and products on a single platform to a wide range of specialists. The organizers have thus sought to help increase oil and gas production and increase the efficiency of the use of these resources.
The Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas – the only Ukrainian higher education institution of oil and gas profile, has also taken part in the exhibition, but with somewhat unexpected exhibit – "The Experience of Implementation of Energy Efficient Technologies and Tangible Educational Social Projects". The organizers of the university exposition were guided by the ideas to show the extremely successful activity of our managers in the field of introduction of modern technologies to increase the efficiency of the use of resources (gas, electricity), expensive, but necessary for our communal needs, which are only partially paid by the state. At the exhibition, the university demonstrated that future specialists for the oil and gas industry are being educated here, and academic and scientific staff of the university make significant efforts to save on non-renewable energy resources in everyday activities. Moreover, the IFNTUNG has shown how high technology uses non-traditional, environmentally friendly energy sources, in particular solar and Earth energies.
