The Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas participated in the XXIII International Specialized Exhibition "Education and Career - 2018", which took place on April 19-21 at the National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation "Ukrainian House". The event was organized by the "Knowledge" society and with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The purpose of the exhibition was to present domestic and foreign educational institutions, youth projects, student exchange programs, experience of cooperation with European countries and youth employment, seminars, round tables on the further development of the education system, international cooperation and the introduction of modern innovative technologies in the field of education.
This year, the full range of opportunities for higher education in Ukrainian and foreign educational institutions was presented at the exhibition, since it involved the leading universities of Ukraine, international organizations, publishing houses, as well as educational institutions of Poland, Latvia, Austria, Germany, Greece, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.
The scientific and educational potential of IFNTUOG was represented by the delegation of the University, consisting of the Director of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics V. Omelchenko, Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Geophysics, D. Fedoryshyn, and Head of the Department of Information and Public Relations I. Kovbaniuk.
According to the results of the competition for the educational institutions’ developments, IFNTUOG was awarded the title of "Leader of International Education". The university also won the Grand Prix in the nomination "Development of international programs of dual diplomas". The received awards testify to the effective international activity of our university.
The International Specialized Exhibition "Education and Career - 2018" undoubtedly became one of the largest events devoted to higher education in Ukraine and abroad. It enabled students, entrants, their parents and all interested persons to receive information from representatives of leading educational institutions of Ukraine and other countries. In addition to individual consultations and personal meetings, visitors had the opportunity to listen to thematic seminars and presentations held by representatives of educational concerns, colleges, preparatory programs and universities.
Education is one of the main priorities of state development! We must remember that!
