Science city "New Energy" of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas has become a platform for youth dialogue in the framework of the German-Ukrainian project «Forest Exchange II» of the program "German-Ukrainian Youth Encounters" supported by the Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future" . The aim of the program is to intensify relations with Ukraine and to strengthen the active commitment of young people from Germany and Ukraine to fundamental democratic values and understanding between peoples.
On September 4, the delegation of students from the universities of the Federal Republic of Germany, namely Humboldt University of Berlin, Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development and higher professional schools of Neubrandenburg, Greifswald and Erfurt, met with the Ukrainian students. Students of various fields of training of IFNTUOG, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, and National Forestry University of Ukraine took part in the internship event "Dialogue of Youth: Changing the Country and the World".
German and Ukrainian students had an opportunity to talk about their educational institutions, communicate directly with each other, seek common interests, and learn about the way of life of modern youth in different countries. Subsequently, IFNTUOG students conducted a tour of the Science City "New energy" and Ivano-Frankivsk. It is worth noting that the meeting was held in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We hope that young people, regardless of their place of residence, will continue seeking common interests and things that unite them, remembering responsibility for the future.
