On July 18, 2019, representatives of the Polish company GWE POL-BUD: executive director, board member Witold Rajpold and Olena Shyts, specialist in development of the Eastern market, visited the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
At the meeting with the university professors, Vice-rector for research I. Chudyk and Director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering O. Vytiaz, representatives of the Polish company presented the main directions of GWE POL-BUD activity, described the technology of manufacturing their products. Particular attention was paid to discussing the current issues of hydrogeology, well drilling and the application of the latest technologies in this area.
It should be noted that the Polish company is a member of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and has many years of experience in the field of hydrogeology, water supply and integrated equipment for deep wells. In recent years, GWE POL-BUD has been an authorized and certified supplier of glass and plastic pipelines for the transportation of oil and gas and materials for geothermal wells. The products of the company, which are manufactured using modern components and advanced technologies, are primarily aimed at drilling companies, water supply companies, design bureaus and installation companies.
In conclusion, the director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering O.Vytiaz told the audience about the areas of cooperation with the Polish company and thanked the guests for an interesting presentation.
We hope that the visit of the Polish colleagues to IFNTUOG will be a good start for expanding and developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the University and GWE POL-BUD. We hope that cooperation will promote the training of highly skilled professionals, will allow us to combine science and production, and will open up new opportunities for university lecturers and students.
