The changes in cooperation between IFNTUOG and AGH University of Science and Technology

The Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas has been an active participant of the Erasmus + program for over 10 years. The results of partner cooperation under this program were presented by the first vice-rector of the IFNTUOG Oleh Mandryk at the Erasmus + International Week of Partners, which took place from February 25 to March 1 this year at the AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow, Poland).

In addition to official events, a working meeting of members of the delegation of the IFNTUG O - the First vice-rector O. Mandryk, Director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering O. Vytiaz and Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Tourism V. Omelchenko with the Vice-rector for Cooperation of AGH prof. Jerzy Lis. The issues of deepening future cooperation between universities were discussed:

- expansion of specialties for the "dual diploma program " (IT technologies, tourism, engineering geology);

- joint European projects in the field of geological research, environmental protection, oil and gas engineering;

- joint cultural, sporting, and educational events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of AGH.

- for the first time, the conditions for signing a cooperation agreement between the Scientific and Technical Library of the IFNTUOG and the AGH Library were discussed, which have long ceased to be only bookshelves, but have become truly modern information centers and intermediaries between scientists from different countries.

There was also a meeting with IFNTUOG students who are already studying at AGH and deans of the corresponding departments in order to harmonize living conditions, studying and leisure activities of Ukrainian students.
