Additional Information:
Department of Educational Support Services does the following:
- checks documents applied by a foreign citizen to determine its compliance with the requirements of admission procedure in a chosen specialty;
- determines applicant’s competencies on the basis of the submitted previous educational documents;
- processes the results by Selection Board in a form of protocol about applicant’s competencies possible for studying at IFNTUOG;
- sends the applicant’s copies of documents in electronic form to the Ukrainian State Center for International Education for receiving an invitation;
- informs an international student about the decision of a Selection Board and the agreement of IFNTUOG concerning his/her study in a chosen specialty or at the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens (lack of language proficiency);
- sends the original invitation for study to a foreign citizen or an authorized person that is responsible for his/her entry to the territory of Ukraine for study;
- informs the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine about the arrival of the invited foreign citizen and provides information about an authorized person responsible for meeting a person at the airport;
- cooperates with the University Admission Board on the admission organization of foreigners for all forms of study;
- provides the organization support on the recognition procedure of foreign educational documents, carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine during the first year of study.
