Business ideas competition of Ivano-Frankivsk region
The competition is being held by IFNTUOG, NGO BRIT to raise awareness and entrepreneurship skills for participants with the support of Creative Spark project. The management and financing of the Creative Spark program is carried out by the British Council.
For whom?
Individuals or teams of up to 3 people: students, graduates or young entrepreneurs of Ivano-Frankivsk, the ages of 18 and 35, has the idea of their own business.
Categories
There will be three competition categories:
- Digital Technology involves ideas involving the development and application of new software or hardware.
- Social Impact is for Ideas that will have a positive impact on our communities and the world beyond. This could be an environmental or social idea that helps those most in need (e.g. social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, gender equality).
- Creative is for ideas for a new product, an exhibition or a way to make the cultural environment more vibrant? Ideas that help creative people reach new audiences will also be considered in this category.
Submission form
Applicants must submit a 60-second video pich of their business idea and demonstrate their interest in the idea, its implementation, impact and quality. The language in the video call is Ukrainian or English. To participate, you must complete the following google form: https://forms.gle/pC6Yjnpx1t9iefNf6. Awards
The winners of the competition will be awarded prizes. This will include a cash prize in the form of initial business investment (1000GBP), as well as professional development, for the top 10 teams.
Also, the best ideas will be invited to the Big Idea Challenge 2020, which will take place in the spring of 2020.

October 1 - December 1, 2019 - the period of submission of ideas for the competition
December 2-4, 2019 - ideas evaluation by jury
