On February 20, 2015 National Technical University of Oil and Gas received the delegation of Danish company "Keel" consisting of a board member Danial Hoydal, Director General of "Keel" in Ukraine Roman Yaremko, and HR manager Natalia Ostrovska.
National Technical University of Oil and Gas is the first higher education institution visited by the representatives of the company. The choice of university was made due to specific profile of the University, which corresponds to the activity of the company. In particular, according to the Director General of "Keel" in Ukraine Roman Yaremko, the company employs graduates of IFNTUOG that have adequately proven as true professionals which demonstrates the high potential of the university in qualified personnel training.
The University was represented by Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, social and economic development, Doctor of Economics Oleh Dzoba, the Director of the Petroleum Engineering Institute Associate Professor Oleh Vytiaz, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies Associate Professor Ihor Chyhur and heads of relevant departments.
The main purpose of the meeting was to inform the university administration and certain institutions where appropriate specialists are trained, of the possibility of a real cooperation with the University. The company management is interested in young, ambitious, promising students with a high level of proficiency in English. The company is ready to accept such students for practice, training and education aimed at further employment. The company also expressed its willingness to cooperate towards the implementation of joint projects with the University.
In conclusion, after discussing the issues both parties were interested in, it was decided to form a contact group and prepare a framework agreement on cooperation for the approval.
