More than 100 scientists, experts from 12 countries (Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, USA, Turkey, Armenia, Belgium, Cyprus, Egypt, Germany, Israel, Pakistan, etc.), 16 cities of Ukraine representing more than 50 scientific and educational institutions took part in the VIIth International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modeling, Development and Strategic Management of Economic Systems" MDSMES-2019, organized by the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, in particular: Vice-rector for Financial Affairs Liliana Horal, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Economics Inesa Khvostina, Teaching Assistant of the Department of Theory of Economics and Management Oleh Yatsiuk and the Department of Applied Economics in general.
The large-scale scientific forum took place in the village of Polianytsia (Bukovel), on October 24-25.
The conference aimed at bringing together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Strategic Management and Economic Development. It also provided an interdisciplinary platform for policy makers, top managers, researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of Strategic Management and Economic Development.
Presentations by Professor Ewa Matuska (Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk, Poland) Professor Giuseppe T. Cirella (University of Gdańsk, Poland), Professor Oleh Syniuk (IFNTUOG), Professor Liliana Horal (IFNTUOG), Professor Mykhailo Voinarenko (Khmelnytskyi National University) delivered at the plenary session prompted lively discussions.
The plenary session was moderated by Professor Alla Polianska and Associate Professor Inesa Khvostina.
Scientific and practical conclusions and recommendations based on the participants' reports after the discussion formed the basis of the conference resolution. The high level of the conference is confirmed by the fact that English was the official language of the event and the materials of the conference will be indexed in the international scientometric database Web of Science.
After the plenary session participants of MDSMES-2019 worked in sections in the following directions:
- Mathematical methods, models, information systems and technologies in economics, accounting and finance.
- Monitoring, modeling, forecasting and crisis prevention in socio-economic systems.
- Strategic management and development of sectoral and regional economic systems.
- Formation areas of innovative model of economic systems development.
- Risk management models in economic systems.
