Representative of IFNTUOG at Regional and Economic Diplomacy Summit

Recently, Regional and Economic Diplomacy Summit which is a large-scale diplomatic event held by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology took place in Poland. The main purpose of the international forum was to show the activities of the Polish society and the government throughout Europe in developing contacts in the areas of relations between local authorities, business, educational and scientific institutions.

Science is one of the main components of the investment ecosystem, which focuses on universities that play the role of important partners in regional development and international cooperation. Representatives of the technical universities of the participating countries were invited to attend the regional summit. The delegation from Ukraine included a doctoral student at the Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics, an associate professor at the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas Teodoziia Yatsyshyn. She was invited to take part in the conference as an active participant of the Innovation University and Leadership project, recognized by Poland and its Eastern partners as one of the most successful in the field of public diplomacy in recet years.

In total, over 1,400 participants from more than 25 countries, representing business, academia and local governments attended the summit. The format included more than 30 sessions and panel discussions, presentation venues for more than 30 institutions. During the Summit, the European Cluster Alliance Declaration an initiative aimed at strengthening European clusters was signed.
