Meeting with A. Burmistrov, Professor of University of Nordland (Bodø, Norway)

On November 6, 2014 in Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas the meeting with Professor of University of Nordland (city of Bodo, Norway) Anatolii Burmistrov and president of the International Foundation for Social Adaptation Vladimir Rubtsov was held.

The meeting was attended by Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, social and economic development  Oleh Dzoba, Partners of International Foundation for Social Adaptation, together with the regional project coordinator Olga Shatyrko, teachers, and members of the "Ukraine-Norway" project.

The meeting began with a lecture by Professor Anatolii Burmistrov on the topic of  "Modern features and prospects of doing business in Norway: Implications for Ukraine." Mr. Burmistrov spoke about the economy, culture and business opportunities in Norway. In particular, he explained why you should invest in this Scandinavian country. According to Professor Burmistrov, it is much easier to establish one's own business in Norway than in Ukraine. The professor also presented a simplified procedure for founding a company in Norway and spoke about working conditions there. The meeting ended with a discussion of spheres of cooperation between the University of Nordland and IFNTUOG. Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, social and economic development, Oleh Dzoba brought up an issue of training our students at the Norwegian University. (Read: Experience of IFNTUOG students' study in Poland) Professor Burmistrov noted that the University of Nordland practices exchange of research experience and is open to collaboration.

Time has passed quickly, since the meeting was very interesting. Professor Burmistrov shared stories based on his own experience and joked. Members of the "Ukraine-Norway" project could hardly wait for the arrival of the Norwegian professor and remained satisfied with the meeting.
