On February 2, 2018, the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas signed a cooperation agreement with Safe Drilling (Poltava). The agreement provides the Training Drilling Center (TDC) with permission for the use of the compact portable drill simulator DrillSim-20 - equipment for practical sessions with candidates for international certification according to IWCF standards.
To sign the agreement, a delegation from the Poltava oil and gas companies, consisting of Director of the company "Safe Drilling" A. Dzundza and Chief Engineer of the company "FAKTORIAL K" Ltd. V. Tretiak, brought the portable TI "DrillSim-20" to the University.
The signing of the Agreement also took place with the participation of the representatives of the working group of the University for the preparation of this Agreement: the leading legal adviser of IFNTUOG V. Protas, the chief accountant N. Stelmashchuk and the director of the TDC, assistant professor V. Kolesnik.
Signatories – Vice-Rector for research of IFNTUOG, prof. I. I. Chudyk and Director of Safe Drilling A. A. Dzundza, believe that the equipment will promote the dissemination of best practices in the training of highly skilled specialists for the oil and gas industry, and cooperation will be mutually beneficial in the field of scientific research and their implementation in production.
