The IFNTUOG SPE student chapter received an international award

The SPE Student Chapter, which has been operating at the Institute of Petroleum Engineering since 2010, received the highest award from the international professional organization SPE - Outstanding Student Chapter of 2018. The awarding of the title followed a year of fruitful work, high performance, participation of students in international conferences and congresses, organization and holding of the International Oil and Gas Congress of SPE in IFNTUOG.

This is the third highest award. In 2014, the SPE Student Chapter was awarded the Gold Standard Chapters Award. Moreover, in 2017 it received the highest award from the international professional organization SPE - Outstanding Student Chapter of 2017.

On September 1-8, a Regional Meeting of Officers of SPE-2018 took place in the building of French Engineers and Scientists in Paris. The event was attended by 43 representatives of 10 student chapters of the SPE of different countries. Students and members of professional chapters from Austria, Germany, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, France and Croatia discussed topical issues in 10 different thematic sections.

President of the Student Chapter of the SPE at IFNTUOG O. Voloshenko presented a speech on the topic: "Get the most from SPE resources." Rikhard Bilyi,  the president of the Ivano-Frankivsk professional chapter of the SPE, the graduate of the IFNTUOG participated in the event as well.

The SPE Regional Director Jean Marc Dumas (France) awarded the Outstanding Student Award 2018 to the SPE Student Chapter of Ivano-Frankivsk, and presented the Gold Standard Award Certificate to the professional division of the Ukrainian SPE Chapter.

Congratulations to our winners on the highest award of the international professional SPE organization, which is the result of the fruitful work of the Student Chapter of the SPE under IFNTUOG.
