Study visit to Norway

On April 22- June 3, 2016 a study visit to Stavanger, Norway on the topic of state regulation of oil and gas resources” was held.
The Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas was represented by Associate Professor of the Department of development and exploitation of oil and gas fields Oleksandr Hutak.
The main objectives of the study visit were:
- Definition and formation of knowledge about the earth's resources and the possibility of their profitable production;
- Effective resources development, in particular at high rates of selection
- Protection the health and safety of people;
- Protection of the environment;
- High financial efficiency for the state of the extracted resources;
- Effective management of profit, making them available for important national objectives;
- State participation in the oil sector as owners and partners;
- Impact of oil industry on the supply sectors of the economy and society;
- State control over the fuel and energy sector, as well as attracting international companies and firms to provide the necessary capacity.
In the framework of the visit there were :
- Lectures and practical training under the guidance of lecturers from different organizations and departments.
- Excursions to oil companies operating in Norway.
- Visit to the Museum of oilfield equipment for drilling and exploitation offshore.
- Demonstration of virtual drilling center OILTEC.
The main achievements for the visit of the Ukrainian delegation – new knowledge, new experiences, as well as the possibility of using the practical experience of developed countries in the conditions of our state.
