On May 14, 2014 the International Fuel Congress was officially opened in Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. The congress was initiated by the student chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, international non-profit professional organization of oil and gas industry. The event was held with the active assistance of the platinum sponsor, one of the leading energy companies, Chevron. About forty students will take part in the congress, including students from Egypt (Cairo University), Poland (The University of Warsaw, AGH University of Science and Technology) and Ukraine (The National Mining University).
