IFNTUOG signs cooperation agreement with the Institute of Science and Technology (Federal Republic of Nigeria)

Early December Serhii Derevianko, Director of International Institute of Science and Technology (Federal Republic of Nigeria) visited the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas to sign an agreement on cooperation between the two universities.

The details of the agreement were discussed with the Deputy Director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of transportation and storage of oil and gas Oleksandr Susak and Director of the Center for International Integration of Higher Education, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Translation Halyna Malyk.

Agreement provides for cooperation between universities in several directions: the creation and implementation of student exchange programs; admiting students to IFNTUOG after graduating from the preparatory department of NTU "KPI", located directly at the Institute of Science and Technology. IFNTUOG teachers provide educational services to students from the partner university, and the employees of Nigerian oil and gas industry have an ability to improve their skills in IFNTUOG at the drilling simulation center, which has international accreditation and can issue certificates of international standard "Well state control . Well control during oil and gas blowouts" of second, third and fourth levels.

When signing the agreement IFNTUOG Rector, Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Science, Professor Yevstakhii Kryzhanivskyi, stressed the importance of cooperation for the development of both universities and deepening international ties between Ukraine and Nigeria.
