Graduate of the fall semester of 2017 of the Ukraine-Norway project on the implementation of the program

Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas has been for a long time (since 2014) implementing one of the largest international projects in our country - "Ukraine - Norway" funded by the Kingdom of Norway. It aims at a professional retraining of the retired military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies, members of their families as well as assistance in their employment.

Within the framework of the project, with the assistance of the International Fund for Social Adaptation and owing to the scientific and educational capabilities of our university, a program for retraining military personnel, members of the ATO and their family members in different specialties has been taking place for several years now.

During the fall term of 2017, participants were offered the program "Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development", which aimed at training successful entrepreneurs for sustainable economic development. Students studied the basics of management, project management, financing, professional English language, etc.

One of the most active participants of the program is Andrii Demydenkov, who is also the head of the Regional Center for assistance to ATO participants. Andrii shares his positive impressions about the course and results of the implementation of the program, notes the relevance of the acquired knowledge, the high professionalism of the teachers. During the courses, Andrii prepared and presented a business idea for the development of a gardening cooperative. He notes that demand for ecological production is increasing, and in Ukraine, there are many examples of successful cooperatives when people unite and grow ecologically pure agricultural products.

It should be noted that under today's conditions, the program is extremely relevant since it helps the military personnel find themselves in civilian life.
