On March 16-24 Z. Kilic the Vice-President of Turkish company "Empress Foreign Traiding Company" for oil and gas storage facilities construction in the Middle East visited IFNTUOG on invitation of the Department of Finance of the Institute of Petroleum Economics and Management.
Mr. Kilic gave a series of lectures for students of IFNTUOG. One of them was the lecture on the latest quality management systems "6 Sigma Management» for the students gaining a master’s degree at "Finance" and "Business Economics". Students gaining a bachelor’s degree in "Automation and computer integrated technologies" and "Gas and petroleum pipelines and storage facilities construction" had an oportunity to attend the lecture on the advanced methods of oil and gas storage facilities construction.
Cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey at IFNTUOG
The meeting with the administration of IFNTUOG resulted in a framework agreement for cooperation. The latter implies that the representatives of the company will provide the students of economic specialties with training sessions concerning "6 Sigma Management» system. After the training, the students will be awarded certificates. As for the students studying for a bachelor’s degree in "Automation and computer integrated technologies" and "Gas and petroleum pipelines and storage facilities construction", they will be given an opportunity to do an internship at the company and share scientific and technical information, participating in conferences and joint projects.
