Cooperation Agreement Signed between Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ukraine) and Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania)

On  November 3,  2015 Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas signed a cooperation agreement with the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania).

“Signing of the partnership agreement will facilitate the implementation of joint projects and cooperation will be mutually beneficial, ” said Rector of IFNTUOG Yevstakhii Kryzhanivskyi at the signing of the document.

Vice-rector of Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava Stefan Purici, noted that the agreements between the universities are step-wise implementation of international agreements between Ukraine and Romania. In the framework of the "Ukraine - Romania - 2015-2020" initiative funding for projects is expected. Cooperation will extend to research programs, exchange of experience.

Consul General of Romania Eleonora Moldovan stressed the importance of good neighborly mutually beneficial cooperation and dissemination of European values. All the participants were unanimous in assessing the importance and significance of signing an agreement on cooperation between the universities.

The aim of the recently signed agreement is to foster cooperation at the Ph.D. and faculty level between both institutions through joint initiatives and research. It will be also possible to exchange faculty members and researchers.
