On April 7, 2017 rector of the Ivano-Frankivsk national technical University of oil and gas, academician of the NAS of Ukraine. Ye. Kryzhanivskyi, and rector of the Opole University of Technology, Professor M. Tukiendorf signed an Agreement on cooperation between the IFNTUOG and the Polytechnic University of Opole (Poland) in the framework of the Forum of rectors of higher technical educational institutions of Ukraine and Poland, which took place in Kyiv under support of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, Ministry of science and higher education of the Republic of Poland. The University has strong partnerships and a positive experience with Polish universities, in particular with Krakiw mining and metallurgical Academy. At the round table forum "Dual diplomas – cooperation of higher technical institutions of Ukraine and Poland in the field of education" the Vice rector for scientific and pedagogical work of IFNTUOG O. M. Mandryk shared the successes and achievements of this cooperation i.e. the participation of students in the program of dual diplomas, internships, and, doctoral studies.
Agreement with Polish university provides for cooperation in the field of teaching and research work with the aim of developing academic cooperation. Both universities will cooperate in all spheres, which are mutually beneficial. For separate subject areas additional agreements will be signed.
We have made another important step for the development of international cooperation of the University and its integration into the European educational and scientific community.
