On April 6-8, 2017 the Ivano-Frankivsk national technical University of oil and gas took part in the XXXIst International specialized exhibition "Education and career – 2017" held at National centre of business and cultural cooperation "Ukrainian house" with the support and participation of the Ministry of science and education of Ukraine, National Academy of pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and society "Knowledge" of Ukraine. In 2008, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine formally granted the exhibition an international status. This year its program included the presentation of domestic and foreign educational institutions, international missions and educational agencies, the opening campaign of 2017 in Ukraine and abroad; holding seminars and roundtables on international educational cooperation, implementation of joint educational and scientific projects, etc.
Scientific and educational achievements of the IFNTUNG in the course of the exhibition were represented by a delegation of the University comprising the rector, academician of NAS of Ukraine Ye. Kryzhanivskyi, Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work O. Mandryk, Director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering O. Vytiaz, Director of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics V. Omelchenko, Head of the international relations Department A. Voronych and Head of the Department of Petroleum Geophysics D. Fedoryshyn.
The University booth on the occasion of the 50th anniversary presented achievements in educational and scientific sphere, in particular the development of energy efficiency projects and technologies.
According to the results of the competition of educational institutions developments, held by the organizing Committee, IFNTUOG was awarded the title "Leader of scientific and scientific-technical activities". The Grand Prize in the nomination "The introduction and development of energy efficient projects and technologies" was a real triumph.
