On September 20-22, 2017, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University, Prof. Rauf Aliiarov, visited our university as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the IFNTUOG.
In the course of a business meeting with the administration of IFNTUOG, promising areas of cooperation in science and education between the two oil universities were discussed. As a result, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Azerbaijani State Oil and Industrial University and the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ukraine), which includes: exchange of scientific and technical information, educational and scientific-methodical literature, joint scientific, technical and scientific and methodological conferences; exchange of work experience and information on the training of highly skilled specialists, postgraduate students, doctoral students and retraining specialists; mutual trips of professors and teaching staff for the purpose of lectures, reports; informing about new innovative educational programs, directions of reforming the educational process; joint organization and conducting of in-field practices of students on the basis of universities; bilateral internship of the faculty and postgraduate students; work on joint research and educational innovative programs in the framework of international programs; joint publications of articles, monographs, textbooks, collections, manuals in publishing houses of higher educational institutions, etc.
Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work O. Mandryk signed the Memorandum of Intent on Cooperation with the State Oil and Industrial University of Azerbaijan. Both universities have high hopes for the development of cooperation in the educational and scientific spheres.
