On November 16, 2016 IFNTUOG hosted Information Day -Training on the topic of Horizon 2020: opportunities for participation in 2017. The organizer of the event is the NCP "Secure, Clean and Efficient energy" and the partner –The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the project InnoverEAST.
Location – Science City "New Energy".
The welcoming speech was presented by InnoverEAST Project Coordinator in IFNTUOG, the Head of Petroleum Power and Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Maksym Karpash.
Оksana Zaremba, the NCP «Future and Emerging Technologies», Ivan Franko National University, gave a speech on future and emerging technologies in Horizon 2020.
Halyna Lazko, the NCP «Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions on skills, training and career development , NU «Lviv Polytechnic», informed on the Calls of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions , conditions of participation and financial aspects.
Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi, the NCP «Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing»,Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, highlighted the topic of "Nanotechnology, new materials, advanced production and processing in the Work Programme of Н2020 for 2016-2017: directions, accents and problems".
Тaisiia Symochko, NCP «Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture, Marine and Maritime Research and the Bio-economy» and «Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing», Uzhgorod National University, focused on the issues of such relevant topics as "Health" and "Food safety".
Аrtur Voronych, NCP «Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy», IFNTUOG, presented the Calls in 2017 on the subject of renewable energy.
Nadiia Boiko, NCP «Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture, Marine and Maritime Research and the Bio-economy» and «Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing», Uzh NU, concluded the Information Day and Training speaking about the main obstacles for participation of Ukrainian teams in Horizon 2020 based on her personal experience.
