A delegation from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Director of the Center for International Cooperation Artur Voronych and Deputy Director of the Center for International Education - Iryna Lytvyn) joined the International Education Forum "Silk Road 2018: Ukraine-China", which was held in Kyiv on June 14-15.
The event was attended by representatives from about 60 institutions of higher education of Ukraine and China, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Ukraine, Ukrainian and Chinese universities, colleges and others.
This is a traditional forum, aimed at establishing cooperation between Chinese and Ukrainian universities. For the participants of the forum an educational exhibition was organized, where each of the participants showed the stages of achievements of their institutions.
"IFNTUOG is interested in deepening cooperation with the universities of China, as this is one of the priorities of the development of international activity of our institution," said Iryna Lytvyn, presenting the university. Our university provides students with a high level of knowledge and skills. The University constantly receives positive feedback on the work of our graduates from many well-known oil and gas companies. Scientists from IFNTUOG are actively working on expanding international cooperation. The university is constantly concluding new and continuing agreements with foreign institutions working in the field of science and technology, which relate to the implementation of joint research and cooperation in the field of training specialists.
The active international activity of our university, the credibility of training and the high level of knowledge aroused interest in George Zhang, the director of the International Relations Center of the University of Science and Technology from the city of Chongqing, who expressed his desire to establish contacts and expand inter-university cooperation.
