As part of the Creative Spark initiative a workshop under the direction of Dr. Richard Tomlins of the University of Coventry (UK) took place at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
The IFNTUOG teachers had the opportunity to learn another creative teaching method - "Lego Serious Play: Lego-A-GО-GО". In his opening speech, the Vice-rector for International Affairs Maksym Karpash noted that the training is an opportunity to learn how to apply creativity for the transfer of knowledge.
The head of the Young Scientists Council of IFNTUOG Bohdan Mishchuk is determined to acquire practical knowledge to use them to work with students. He believes that such a methodology will not replace traditional lectures or seminars in the educational process, but it is extremely helpful for the students' interest and motivation to think creatively and develop, to master the material better.
The training of Dr. Richard Tomlins was extremely helpful. Thus, we expect from the lecturers-participants qualitatively new methods of student training and high performance ratings during the new academic year.

Creative Spark is a five year initiative to support international university and institutional partnerships to develop enterprise skills and creative economy across seven countries in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and Ukraine through UK support. In order to support higher education reform and respond to unemployment rates in these seven countries, the UK’s experience to help develop enterprise education is used.
