Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine visits IFNTUOG

    On November 12, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia in Ukraine Tomislav Vidoshevich visited IFNTUOG in the course of his working visit to the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Mr. Vidoshevich had a meeting with the University representativesnamely Rector Professor Ye. Kryzhanivskyi, Vice-rector for scientific and academic affairs Professor O. Mandryk, Vice-rector for research and international affairs Professor O. Karpash and Head of International Relations DepartmentAssociate Professor Artur Voronych. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia familiarized with educational and international activities of the University, its main areas of research. In particularthe energy efficiency programs, technology of energy efficiency and transportation of compressed gas (CNG) which was developed and patented by the University for cheap sea transportation of energy in compressed gaseous form and has several advantages compared with the technology of transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG),were presented in detail. This technology is particularly interesting for the Ambassador as Croatia is developing the project on transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG). Ambassador also visited the Geological Museum of the University, where he got acquainted with its mineralogical collection, the object of which is preservation of the national scientific heritage.    Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary is interested in establishing mutually beneficial relations of the universities of Croatia with our university.
