Two projects of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, namely “Ro-Ua Trans-Border Academic Development for Research and Innovation” (Project Coordinator – Head of the Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics Professor Lesia Shkitsa) with a total budget of ‎€ 293 640 and the “Development of cross-border cooperation on the promotion of historical and cultural heritage sites in the cross-border territory of Romania and Ukraine” (project coordinator – Head of the Department of Geodesy and Land Management Professor Mykola Prykhodko) with a budget of ‎€ 454,640 have been chosen for implementation in the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania - Ukraine 2014-2020.

Thus, on February 11, the first Vice-Rector of IFNTUOG Oleh Mandryk signed the grant contract at the premises of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration. According to the contract, the partners of the University include The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca - North University Centre of Baia Mare (Romania) and the Romanian Public Organization for research, innovation and professional development.

Prof. Lesia Shkitsa is pleased with the result, as IFNTUOG is the main beneficiary of this project. She says the project involves the establishment of the Innovation Development Center, equipped with state-of-the-art digital production facilities at IFNTUOG. This will allow creative students and residents of the Ivano-Frankivsk region to implement their own innovative projects.

Mykola Prykhodko adds that among the main directions of the project implementation is the reconstruction of the IFNTUOG Geological Museum, promotion of 50 historical and historical-cultural objects of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Congratulations to our winners! Keep it up!
