Internships in Malaysia: What's New in the World of Power Supply Networks?

Within the framework of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP), Associate Professor of the Department of Power Engineering of IFNTUOG Iryna Yaremak undergone a two-week scientific and pedagogical internship course "Industrial Electric Networks and AC Motors" in Shah Alam. 46 trainees from 23 countries participated in the internship, and the training took place at the Center for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training. Iryna notes that special attention was paid to practical training at CIAST. All participants were provided with the necessary instructions, equipment and tools to gain the wiring and electrical installation skills. The creative laboratories in which they worked were also added to the creative spirit. The lessons learned can now be shared with Ukrainian professionals and students.

Lectures and workshops were conducted by experienced instructors. During the lectures, which were conducted at a high scientific and methodological level, special attention was paid to the control circuits of the induction motors.

All the trainees got certificates of successful internship within the MTCP presented by the Minister of Social Policy of Malaysia.
